2016 is Coming to a Close Soon
2016 - was another difficult year for many, including us, but because of the extreme generosity of our donors our doors remained opened. There were weeks throughout the year that we were not certain if we would have enough food for distribution but as we were all thinking how we would manage our next distribution day, lo and behold someone would walk through our doors with food donations. In the month of November 2016, we served 280 families equating to 555 Adults and 267 children. Thank you we could not and cannot do it without YOU!
2016 will be coming to a close soon - and all of us at the Keyport Ministerium Food Pantry would like to express our deepest gratitude to ALL the individuals, churches, organizations and businesses for their great support throughout the year.
Turkey distribution - on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving we distributed over 176 turkeys and dinners. Distribution was scheduled for 9:30 AM but our clients were lined up at 8:30 to ensure that they would receive a turkey. We received a large number of turkeys from the Foodbank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties but we were very grateful for the additional donations we received on that day as well. Also Wells Fargo Bank provided a bank manager and volunteers to help distribute them (see photos) Thanks also to Keyport Police Department for supplying the officer for crowd control.

Call to confirm if the weather is bad. (732) 918-2600 ext. 234. I would also like to take this opportunity to publicly say Thank You! to all our great KMFP Volunteers for their time, dedication and commitment to our organization throughout the year.
I am sure that those who know some or all of our volunteers will agree that we would not be able to operate the way we do without each one of them.
Wishing everyone the very best in 2017 and always,
