Application Period Now Open for Households to Apply for Funding to Help Offset Cost of Winter Heating Bills

New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (DCA) has launched a new season of the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) for residents across the state.

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) formerly known as the Food Stamp Program is of great assistance to many people who are struggling financially and need assistance in purchasing food. Foodbank personnel are available at different locations on a monthly basis throughout Monmouth and Ocean Counties to assist persons who would like to apply.  For further information contact the Foodbank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties – (732) 918-2600 ext. 234.  If you know of someone that needs assistance in applying please provide this information to them. Spanish speaking personnel available.

Building Fund donations continue to come in. Thank you to all that have donated and continue to do so.  Although we have been selected to receive a grant from the CDBG we still need to continue with our fundraiser so please remember  “No donation is ever too small and all are truly appreciated.

Christmas Sponsors – needed for the KMFP Children. Please spread the word in your respective houses of worship, organizations, and businesses and also among your family and friends.

Holiday Food Donations – are greatly appreciated but due to our limited space and refrigeration we ask that you please contact our Associate Director Sherry Hill during our hours of operation to ensure we have the space to store your donations.
